Silicon Bronze Woodscrew - Slotted Raised Head 8g x 2"

8-gauge oval head silicon bronze wood screws.  These silicon bronze screws have a slotted countersunk (CSK) head and are ideal for use as boat building screws.

Even buried in the wooden structure of a boat, silicon bronze screws will not corrode - unlike stainless steel screws which will corrode when shielded from oxygen and unable to build a protective oxide layer.

We also recommend silicon bronze screws for fastening our bronze deck hardware. Alternatively through-bolt with silicon bronze machine screws for high-load situations.
